Low touch

Target risk funds

Five funds, from conservative to aggressive. Take the investment personality questionnaire at canadalife.com/ipq, then match your score. Switch funds if your goals or comfort with risk change.

  1. ConservativeScore 105 or less
  2. ModerateScore 106 to 135
  3. BalancedScore 136 to 164
  4. AdvancedScore 165 to 199
  5. AggressiveScore 200 or more

Each level has a matching PSG Continuum Fund, for example the Balanced PSG Continuum Fund.

High touch

Build your own portfolio

  1. 1

Take the questionnaire and review the suggested asset mix.

  2. 2

Choose your funds using the fund reviews and reports.

  3. 3

Check in and rebalance. Your score changes, and markets move.

If you don't choose

The default fund

Skip the choice at enrolment and your money goes to the BlackRock LifePath fund closest to your 65th birthday. It may not fit your goals. You can move out of it at any time.
